The Star. Agata Zubel - soprano, Stanislaw Kierner - baritone, Cezary Duchnowski - electroacustic adaptation, Quarrel Quartet.
9th - 12th: Tarragona, Spain member of the jury at the International Competition for Composers.
15th - 17th: Warsaw, Poland, chairman of the jury at the Lutoslawski Award Competition for Composers.
November/December
28th Nov - 7th Dec: Taipei, Taiwan, member of the jury at the Tsang Houei-Hsu International Music Composition Award Final Contest.
October
1st: Havana, Cuba, performance of Serenade at the 21st Festival de la Habana de Musica Contemporanea. National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Boris Alvarado.
6th - 9th and 17th: Lodz, Poland, chairman of the jury at the 6th International Tansman Festival and Competition of Musical Personalities.
14th: Chinon, France, piano recital at Musiques d'Automne 2006 Festival.
September
10th: Lodz, Poland, first performance of Ball in the Opera after Julian Tuwim's poem at the Festival of Dialogue of Four Cultures. Polish Chamber Choir Schola Cantorum Gedanensis and instrumental ensemble conducted by Jan Lukaszewski.

29th - 30th: Warsaw, Poland, The National Theatre, first performances of the opera Yvonne, Princess of Burgundy at the Warsaw Autumn Festival. Libretto - Grzegorz Jarzyna and Zygmunt Krauze after Witold Gombrowicz's drama. Marek Weiss-Grzesinski - director, Wieslaw Olko - stage design, Gosia Baczynska and Wojciech Dziedzic - costumes. Polish Radio Orchestra conducted by Andrzej Straszynski. Soloists - Adam Zdunikowski, Kinga Preis, Magdalena Barylak, Artur Rucinski, Dariusz Machej and others.
July/August

29th: Lodz, Poland, The Music Academy, concert dedicated to Krauze's music at the Musica Moderna Festival. Programme: Five Songs ( T. Rozewicz poems) for baritone and piano, fragments of opera Balthazar, piano works. Performed by Stanislaw Kierner - baritone, Beata Cywinska - piano.
